Photo Contest Guidelines

The Carbon County Visitors Council invites you to participate in the Carbon County Photo Contest, celebrating the beauty and uniqueness of Carbon County, Wyoming.

The winner will receive a $150 cash prize. Second place will receive $100, and Honorable Mention will receive $75.

Winners will also have their photo featured on the Carbon County Visitors Council website, and select photos may appear in ads and marketing materials to help promote the county. Both amateur and professional photographers are welcome to participate. Photos may be submitted in digital format or as printed copies; see contest rules for details. Please read all photo contest rules before entering.

Only one submitted photo per photographer will be considered for prizes. Photos must be taken in Carbon County, Wyoming. The photo contest deadline is September 8, 2026.

Photos containing recognizable people must include a signed model release form, which may be submitted in person at the Carbon County Visitors Council office at 105 E Cedar in Rawlins, Wyoming, via mail to PO Box 1017, Rawlins, WY 82301, or by email to info@wyomingcarboncounty.com.
